Croft Wingates Gallery in
Market Harborough has been
established since 1975 selling
originals, limited editions,
sculpture and offering a full
bespoke framing service.

John & Jenni Snape have
been running the gallery since
1981 when they bought the
business from John’s parents, Bill &
Beth. The gallery has since evolved and, in
2002, moved into a purpose-built gallery in
the garden of the old site on St Mary’s Road.
John & Jenni Snape will be retiring from the
gallery and hand over the reins to Andrew
& Kathryn Cartwright for the next chapter in
the history of Croft Wingates Gallery. For
the past couple of years, Andrew has been
working with John & Jenni who are delighted
that he and Kathryn will make the business
grow. After a ‘Evolution Sale’ throughout
August when stock is sold at half price, the
gallery will close for September to launch
under the names Wingates
Gallery on Saturday 30th
September.

Andrew & Kathryn feel
privileged to be continuing the
tradition of a friendly welcome,
great customer service and all
the gallery has offered for over
40 years in Market Harborough.
Dinah Fordham, who has been a big
part of the family business for many years,
will continue to work at the gallery. As well
as bringing in new collections from some
of the most loved existing artists, the team
will be introducing work from new artists
including glass sculptures. It is important
to Andrew & Kathryn to acknowledge and
appreciate the heritage of the gallery so,
after refurbishing and rebranding, they will
proudly launch as Wingates Gallery and look
forward to extending their friendly welcome
to both existing and new customers at the
launch party and beyond.
