An all-female group of artists is holding a contemporary fine art exhibition during the two snowdrop weekends at Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens in February.

Edge Arts is made up of eight artists from across the Midlands, including illustrator Emma Carpendale from Northampton. The group graduated from The University of Northampton in 2010 and the exhibition at Kelmarsh will be their second as a group.

It will take place during the two snowdrop weekends on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th February and Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th February 2012.

Snowdrops and Sculptures at Edge Arts comprises illustrators, fine artists and photographers. Their exhibition at the Grade I listed Hall, which features sculptures and paintings, will include pieces for sale. The group had been looking at different places to
exhibit outside the normal locations. They were looking for somewhere more creative and interesting as a showcase for their work and Kelmarsh Hall seemed the ideal place.

Kelmarsh Hall will be open from 11am to 3pm during the two weekends, with refreshments
available. Admission is £3.

Prior to the snowdrop weekends, there will be a viewing evening for the collection of artwork on Friday, February 10th from 6pm to 9pm. There will be complimentary drinks and canapés and live music. It is open to the public and admission is free.
