A celebration of all that is excellent in English food

Saturday 21st July will see the third Food Festival taking place in Oundle. Although plans have not all yet been fi nalised, the popular festival will include:

Oundle Street Market
The street market is at the heart of the day with around 45 market stalls in the Market Place, featuring local growers, producers and street food providing opportunities to taste food as it really should be, and a chance to meet the people who grow, nurture and produce real food.

Cookery Demonstrations
Talks and demonstrations in the Queen Victoria Hall throughout the day showing how to prepare simple tasty dishes from local produce. Look out for news on the website www.oundlefoodfestival.co.uk

Children’s Activities
Activities to get children involved in both cooking and growing.

Restaurant Week
The best local eateries will be offering a fi xed price festival menu for lunch and dinner to enable you to taste the fi nest seasonal food at affordable prices.

The Big Food Debate
Oundle Transition Town will be hosting a food debate ‘Feeding the Next Generation’ . Speakers will be drawn from different backgrounds – catering, organic farming, sustainable fi shing, retail and large scale production.

Street Theatre and The Fringe Festival
The Food Festival will once again host performances from the Fringe Festival to give the street market a carnival atmosphere. Follow the full programme of events for The Fringe at
