NATURE TOTS at Country Parks

Following several requests by mums who love to see their Tots explore and interact with nature, the Rangers are restarting at Fermyn Woods Country Park. Five of Northamptonshire County Council’s Country Parks are now offering Nature Tots.

The March sessions will be a special Easter themed session held on the following dates and
venues, starting at 10am.

Wednesday 6th at Irchester Country Park

Wednesday 13th at Barnwell Country Park

Thursday 14th at Fermyn Woods Country Park

Tuesday 19th at Sywell Country Park

Wednesday 20th at Brixworth Country Park

Nature Tots sessions in April fall in the Easter Holidays. After the holidays, the up and coming themes are ‘Sensory’ where the Tots get to explore all their senses – looking for bugs, smelling crushed up plants, feeling different bark textures, etc., and then follows ‘Life Cycles’ looking at the life cycles of the frog and oak tree.

Children from 18 months up to school age are guided by an experienced Ranger on a short Nature trail, followed by craft activities tailored to each season. Pre-booking is required for all sessions, please phone Ranger Jo on 07703 160878. Each session is £3 per child which includes all activities and refreshments.
