Saturday 2nd September sees the return of The LittleFoot Festival, a one-day family fundraising festival for children young and old at Stanwick Hall, Stanwick, NN9 6QE. The festival is the brainchild of owners of Stanwick Hall and founders of Nepal Youth Foundation UK. Having spent years rebuilding and restoring Stanwick Hall, they feel that now is a good time to have a bit of a party and want people to come and enjoy some really fun activities, eat and drink all whilst raising money for families in Nepal that really need our help.
Nepal Youth Foundation off ers hope and opportunity to Nepal’s most impoverished children by providing them with every child’s birth right: vital healthcare, education and a safe environment. Since the earthquake last year, NYF’s work has become even more vital: helping communities rebuild their shattered homes and lives.
The festival is on the theme: ‘All the Fun of the Circus’. There will be circus school, meet and greet with reptiles, dad dancing competitions, a toddler disco, magicians, forest school skills, story-telling, crafting workshops, football fun alongside good food, fun music, children’s theatre and a few surprises!
The festival will be opened at 12noon sharp by a well-known face from Children’s TV, further details to follow.
Once you purchase a ticket everything inside the festival is free (excluding food, drink and face painting). This means fairground rides are free, the bouncy castle with adult slide is free, all the workshops are free and the go karts are – you guessed it – free!
Family tickets are available at just £50 for two adults and two children from the website below. If there are any left, they will be available on the door. The LittleFoot Festival aims to raise desperately needed funds for Nepal’s children and provide a really fun family day out. It is aimed at primary school aged children and their families.
