Hepburn Final Concert and Competition Sunday 18th March, 7.30pm - Great Hall All welcome, no tickets required One can often be blown away by the standard and approach of our pupils to this competition.  The entire process is a celebration of around 300 pupils on their respective journeys as they each do their best in their performance on the concert platform. Behind the scenes, focused and increased practice is palpable and it is often the case that we find our finalists huddled together offering purposeful critique in the final days of preparation. We look to the experience of Mr John Bowley to adjudicate - Director of Music at Greshams, highly experienced in the school environment and wholly familiar with the diversity of highclass playing across the instruments.

Music Scholars’ Concert Friday 20th April, 6pm - Great Hall All welcome, no tickets required Whilst it can be a daunting task for an individual to open a term with a solo, it makes for a superb gathering moment and appropriate point of focus.  This is the turn of the younger and very able Oundle musicians, first second and fourth formers.

Organ Recital by Steven Grahl Sunday 29th April, 5.45pm - Chapel All welcome, no tickets required We are delighted that Steven Grahl, the Director of Music at Peterborough Cathedral, Conductor of Schola Cantorum of Oxford, Principal Conductor of the Guildford Chamber Choir and a Junior Fellow in Choral Direction at Birmingham Conservatoire, will be opening our season of organ recitals.  Steven is known for the delivery of musicianship and faultless playing and was a prize-winning graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford and the Royal Academy of Music.  Steven gained the top prizes in the FRCO examination and is also a holder of the Worshipful Company of Musicians’ Silver Medallion.  He was an interpretation finalist in the International Organ Competitions at St Albans in 2011, in Dudelange (Luxembourg) in 2013, and has been President of the Incorporated Association of Organists since July.  He is an increasingly familiar face on the Oundle Organ courses.
