Gardens Open for
National Garden Scheme

11am to 3pm

The Gardens at Boughton House will be
open to enjoy on the 1st March from 11am
to 3pm, with light bites available in the
tearooms and gifts from the shop. Treat
your nose in the Walled Garden with its
herbaceous border, fl owerbeds and newly
created Sensory Garden. The peace and
beauty of the Rose Garden and the ancient
Lily Pond are well worth seeking out.

Boughton House is preparing for its
exclusive public opening for a look inside
the private home of the Duke & Duchess
of Buccleuch & Queensberry.

Inside you can see the impressive
Buccleuch art collection containing
treasures from across the decorative arts
spectrum. This includes paintings by El
Greco, Van Dyck and Gainsborough,
exceptional French furniture by the master
cabinetmaker André-Charles Boulle,
alongside delicate Sèvres porcelain,
Mortlake tapestries and 16th century rugs
from the Middle East.
