The second Muddy Stilettos
Northants Awards celebrations
took place at Cranford Hall,
where nearly all the 2017 winning
businesses made it to the party.
More than 26,000 votes were cast
for the favourite Northants lifestyle
businesses across 27 categories.

Muddy Stilettos Northants is the urban
guide to the countryside reporting about
what is best about living in our county. There
were winners from all over the county, from
big towns like Northampton but also smaller
outlying villages and towns like Earls Barton,
Desborough, Farthinghoe and Harrington. A
particular hot bed of talent was south-west of
the county in Brackley. There are wonderful
entrepreneurs in Northamptonshire, with great
finalists across the categories and last-minute
tussles for first place, so do keep in touch and
suggest new and up-coming businesses for
next year’s awards.

The stunning setting of Cranford Hall was the
perfect party backdrop with great hospitality
provided by some of the winners from this
year and 2016, including cookie-dipping
stilettos from The Biscuiterie and the prosecco
van from Fizz76. Rockabilly Rose created
the floral displays and the creative crew at
Event Buddy (UK) ensured that everything
was set up perfectly. Warner Edwards
Distillery kindly stocked the gin bar, and guests
were serenaded with the musical talents of
Sara, The Ukulele Lady, as seen on Later with
Jools Holland.
