I have an international background and years of expertise in making preserves of all kinds. I am passionate about food - using the best ingredients available - and I enjoy cooking and pleasing those who eat my food; it is a form of giving love to others. I showcase my products in Bulwick Village Stores, where I have a permanent tasting table. My idea is that customers should taste before they buy - in fact when customers taste they almost invariably buy - the problem usually is that they are not sure what to choose!

Valentine’s Day

The best thing about Valentine’s day? Breakfast in bed… obviously!
And what better way to sweeten your sweet than sharing a selection
of award winning preserves with them. We know it’s not rocket
science but here’s how we’d go about it.

Ingredients:
1 jar The Indulgent One
1 jar The Amorous Breakfast marmalade
1 jar Hot Blooded Breakfast marmalade
1 freshly brewed cafetière of coffee
4+ slices of hot buttered toast

Method: Silently sneak out of bed to prepare your
lover’s morning treats. Pop the kettle on and get the
bread toasting away. Choose a tray and perhaps add
a little flower or two. Don’t forget napkins – linen
preferably. Nothing but the best for your darling.

Use your ‘special occasion coffee’. And if you want
to get really creative, cut the toast in the shape of
a heart. Arrange on a plate, line up your delicious
selection of preserves on the tray and serve to your
Valentine. We’d suggest starting with the Indulgent
One, our legendary strawberry jam, then perhaps
moving onto the seriously seductive Amorous
Breakfast marmalade (a grapefruit marmalade
with cranberry and vodka) before finally let things
get feisty with our Hot Blooded Breakfast marmalade – our award
winning blood orange marmalade with hot chilli. Hot stuff!
