My name is Susan and I am your local Expert Travel Advisor based in Titchmarsh. I got the travelling bug at the age of ten when I travelled across America with my family from New York to Los Angeles. This led to a career in the Hospitality and Travel Industry spanning 25 years.

I spent ten years at sea on luxury cruise ships as a Shore Excursion Manager travelling the world and, therefore, have firsthand experience of a wide variety of holiday destinations.

I am in a position to pass on my experience to fellow travellers. High-lights of my travels
include an Antarctica over flight, staying at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, exploring the New England Islands such as Martha’s Vineyard and visiting the Turquoise Lagoon of Tahiti. Having sold over £5 million of Holidays, I am continuing to offer a personal and professional travel service to the local community selling holidays all around the world.

2011 ended on a real high for me with a visit to the beautiful Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius. The island is made special by the hospitality of the people who have a genuine friendliness combined with a commitment to quality and service that is hard to beat. The temperatures on this tropical island average in the mid-20s the whole year round. Not only does the island have over 205 miles of palm-fringed coastline but you can explore the Black River Gorges National Park, the Botanical Gardens and many nature reserves. As well as the world-famous golden beaches and eight worldclass golf courses, there are activities such as quad biking and horse riding to enjoy. During my trip I was amazed to learn how much this island has to offer.

I visited numerous hotels and my personal favourites were The Residence and Heritage Le Telfair, but there were so many amazing properties I would love to return to. It is truly wonderful as I now have contacts on the Island that are making my clients’ holidays extra special. Mauritius is definitely affordable luxury. Depending on when you travel, a package with flights, transfers and a weeks accommodation in a Superior Hotel can start from as little as £1300.00 per person.
