Online Travel Agency of the Year 2010/2011

My name is Susan and I am your local Expert Travel Advisor based in Titchmarsh. I got the travelling bug at the age of ten when I travelled across America with my family from New York to Los Angeles. This led to a career in the Hospitality and Travel Industry spanning 25 years.

I spent ten years at sea on luxury cruise ships as a Shore Excursion Manager travelling the world and, therefore, have firsthand experience of a wide variety of holiday destinations.

I am in a position to pass on my experience to fellow travellers. High-lights of my travels
include an Antarctica over flight, staying at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, exploring the New England Islands such as Martha’s Vineyard and visiting the Turquoise Lagoon of Tahiti. Having sold over £5 million of Holidays, I am continuing to offer a personal and professional travel service to the local community selling holidays all around the world.

Why not try River Cruising?

After many years of travelling on large cruise ships carrying up to 3500 passengers, I decided to try river cruising. I was pleasantly surprised, so much so that I returned again. If you find you have exhausted all the ports of call that the large cruise ships visit and looking for a change, a river cruise would be a wonderful alternative. Vessels tend to hold up to 200 passengers and in many ports you dock right in the heart of towns and cities so you can walk straight off the ship into town.

Cabins are bright, the majority being outside with picture windows or balconies. The vessels have a spacious lounge and bar area to relax in. Compared to larger ships, I personally found the service levels higher and more individual. Most cruises will include all your meals, snacks and drinks with dinner. If you enjoy wine you will appreciate the local wines that are served with your meals. The majority of excursions are usually included in the price as well as your entertainment, which is usually very laid back. Depending where you cruise they will try and bring local acts onboard to entertain you.

River cruising is becoming popular in many parts of the world now, but if you wanted to start closer to home the options in Europe are endless. You can fly or take the Eurostar to join your cruise. I travelled over the festive period and enjoyed the Christmas Markets which I would highly recommend. I am always happy to discuss my travel experiences so please feel free to contact me.
