Online Travel Agency of the Year 2010/2011

My name is Susan and I am your local Expert Travel Advisor based in Titchmarsh. I got the travelling bug at the age of ten when I travelled across America with my family from New York to Los Angeles. This led to a career in the Hospitality and Travel Industry spanning 25 years.

I spent ten years at sea on luxury cruise ships as a Shore Excursion Manager travelling the world and, therefore, have firsthand experience of a wide variety of holiday destinations.

I am in a position to pass on my experience to fellow travellers. High-lights of my travels
include an Antarctica over flight, staying at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, exploring the New England Islands such as Martha’s Vineyard and visiting the Turquoise Lagoon of Tahiti. Having sold over £5 million of Holidays, I am continuing to offer a personal and professional travel service to the local community selling holidays all around the world.

PREFERENTIAL Rates and Priority Service will be offered to VILLAGE CONNECT Readers and
local meetings can be arranged to discuss your holiday in person

Reflecting on last year’s travels

In May I returned to Croatia for the third time. I fl ew from Stansted into Spilt and took a ferry over to the beautiful island of Hvar, after a few days there I travelled back to the mainland and headed down the Makarska Riviera. Croatia has so much to offer and so many islands to explore so I have added a Croatia Cruise to my list of must dos.

In June, I re-visited Dubai after 10 years and I was amazed to see how the city had grown. I stayed at some stunning 5* hotels, including Atlantis on the Palm. I fl ew from  Birmingham and in a few hours arrived to fi nd more than just warm weather. Dubai has so much to offer and I understand why my clients keep returning to this amazing destination.

In August New England was calling and I headed to the Maine Coast experiencing the wonderful coastal towns and villages that this area offers. I had only ever been there  in the Fall, but the Summer offered longer days and the opportunities to explore the Maine beaches, summer festivals and lobster bakes.

While the rain fell in the UK in November I escaped the cold and had a couple of weeks on the west coast of Florida enjoying some winter sun. Many people head to Florida for Mickey Mouse but I went to relax and enjoy the beaches and towns along the Gulf of Mexico.

I love to share my travels as maybe these are places you have considered and need advice on. As always I would be more than happy to discuss any travel plans with you.
