Kelmarsh Hall Gardens Spring Walk Opening is
taking place on Sunday 1st March from 11am until
4pm. This is a great opportunity to come out and
enjoy a good walk and some refreshment in the tea
room (dogs on leads welcome).

The Gardens run to 25 acres and were laid out by
Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe and Norah Lindsay for Nancy
Lancaster. There is a very unusual triangular shaped
walled kitchen garden and, in the early season, a
small show of spring bulbs and the usual topiary. New
for this season is the newly restored Orangery which
will be open to view and enjoy.

The discounted admission charge for this event is
£3.50 per adult (usually £6) and £2 for children (5-14
years).

The whole family is also invited to join in the Easter
Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday and Monday, 5th & 6th April,
where people can get out in the fresh air and enjoy the
gardens. There is a family trail that takes children
around the whole gardens fi nding clues to make a
special word to enable them to claim their Easter Egg.
Easter-themed craft activities are also available and it
will be a great deal of fun. Normal admission prices
apply and pre-booking is not required.

The general opening times for Kelmarsh Gardens
for 2015 run from Easter Sunday 5th April through
the end of September on a Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday & Sunday, and the Hall opening days are
Tuesday and the fi rst Sunday of every month and
Bank Holiday Mondays.
