Graham Smith has been in the furniture making and specialist woodwork industry for over 30 years and his Hallwood Furniture company on Beatrice Road, Kettering, has been making handmade kitchens for 25 years. Over the years, Graham’s wife, Helen, has supported the family business with her administrative and accounting skills and, five years ago, the couple were joined by their son, Alex, who took over the marketing of the company. If you pop in to the showroom, you’re also more than likely to be greeted by Embo, the family dog. At Hallwood Furniture, each handmade kitchen is designed around the customers’ requirement and the individual restrictions of their properties. All kitchens are built with the finest traditional craftsmanship and Graham and his team pride themselves on their attention to detail, both while making and installing their kitchens. You can find inspiration in the showroom or Graham and Alex can visit you at your home to design your kitchen. They love to mix contemporary and traditional styles and enjoy the Hallwood Furniture have designed and fitted furniture in the UK, within Europe and also in America. Many of their clients have returned for a second or third time, when moving home, and once again requiring a high quality kitchen. The 4,000 sq. ft showroom with full kitchen displays and the workshopsare based at the same premises at The Old Stables, allowing customers to view work in progress as well as Hallwood Furniture is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
