The FOOL Committee had some difficult decisions to make when they judged the photography competition to find pictures for the 2014 calendar. The special class at the Oundle Horticultural Society Show attracted 35 entries, and from these the judges had to select a
picture to illustrate every month of the year, as well as a cover photograph.

The calendar is available to purchase from Oundle Library and several town centre shops at £7. Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors all the money raised from sales will go towards improving Oundle Library. It will make a useful Christmas present and is a great way to support your local library.

The theme for the 2015 calendar will be ‘Hidden Oundle’ – which, of course, includes the surrounding villages and wider Oundle district. The calendar needs a beautiful photograph for every month of the year, so keen photographers are encouraged to start taking their pictures for next year’s competition now! Any photographs taken on or within private property will require permission from the owner - both to take the picture and to allow its use in the calendar.

Photographs must be in landscape format and a minimum of 300dpi (or a file size of 2MB+) so they can be printed to A4 size.
