Do you have a video camera?

Do you want to improve your editing or take part in film making? The Kettering Movie Makers meets every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7.30pm in Pytchley Village Hall, NN14 1EL.

They are affiliated to the IAC, The Film & Video Institute, and participate in their competitions as well as local inter club competitions. They also hold club competitions ranging from 1 minute, 5 minute and 10 minute films, Nature films, etc. These give interest to the evenings and help improve standards of film making. Local documentaries are also made.

Current documentaries being made include the Kettering mayoral ceremony and the mayor’s duties and The Probus Club of Kettering. A public film show is normally given in the village hall in the spring. If you have a video camera and are interested in improving your film making, developing your editing techniques, adding music, voiceovers, titles etc. or taking part in documentary production then come along - meetings are very informal.

The club is open to anybody with an interest from beginner to real enthusiast and an open invitation is extended to anyone to come along. Even if you just want to tidy up your holiday film or see what can be done you will be very welcome.
