Rotary is the world’s biggest service organisation a network of 1.2million people making a difference in the world we live in.  Rotary members tap into their professional skills, expertise and knowledge to discover solutions to help within its local community or internationally.  Whether you are keen to solve problems being faced in your local area or want to help transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable people overseas, Rotary is the place to turn your passion for change into action.

The Rotary Club of Corby has supported both local and international projects including Aqua Box, Water Aid, Shelterbox, Nepal Earthquake Relief and Ending Polio Now as international help.  The club has also helped Lakelands Day Care Hospice, the Air Ambulance, Flood Relief in Cumbria and Yorkshire and The Citizens Advice Bureau among many others.

As part of its support for youth organisations in the area the Rotary Club of Corby is promoting a concert by Youth Brass 2000 at the Core at Corby Cube on Sunday 25th March at 3pm.

Youth Brass 2000 are delighted to be asked back for a third year in a row to perform at the Corby Cube in conjunction with the support of the Rotary Club of Corby.

The band has retained the title of British Open Champion Youth Band in a sixth consecutive year and also retained, for the fourth year in a row, the most prestigious title of National Youth Champion Band of Great Britain.  2017 also saw the band representing England in the European Brass Band Championships in Belgium gaining a very creditable second place, hoping for one better this May in Holland.

As a totally independent youth band without any direct support or sponsorship, this annual concert promoted by Corby Rotary Club is a great financial boost to the band.
