The Great British Food Festival is back at Kelmarsh Hall on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July.  Along with wonderful food and drink producers, there will be headline chef demos, foodie talks, terrific live music to enjoy on the lake side and a ‘Cake Off’! The Cake Off is a popular part of the festival, where amateur bakers going head to head in front of judges Francis Quinn and Jane Beedle (Ex-Great British Bake Off) to win a prize from Kenwood. 

This year there is a new ‘Bake Stage’ where the GBBO stars will be demoing alongside some of the best regional talent; from baking tips to fine dining know-how, the Demo Theatre is the place to be for any budding chef! The event has lots of artisan producers who will also be showcasing the best in seasonal, and speciality food and drink.

This summer, Kelmarsh Hall are hosting an evening lecture series throughout July.  Every Tuesday, a diverse and engaging topic shall be on offer, followed by a reception in the beautiful heritage gardens. Each event promises to enthuse and entertain audiences with topics focusing on the Hall and Gardens, along with other fascinating topics which have been researched and presented by eminent experts from the Universities of Leicester and Northampton.  Lecture topics include English Country House Style, Victorian Asylum to the Georgian Militia.

Storytelling in the Garden Tuesday 24th July & Tuesday 7th August, 11am to 4pm Storytelling in the garden returns to Kelmarsh Hall this year!  Children can enjoy a magical imaginative journey through stories told in a fun and adventurous way.  All storytelling takes place in the unique setting of the Kelmarsh walled gardens, delivered to you by a professional storyteller.
