Corby Male Voice Choir (CMVC) has unveiled its new look for its continuing 2018 concert season with a vibrant new logo which they hope will not only attract a wider audience to its concerts but also attract new members to its current 32-strong choir.

As one of the region’s largest fundraising choirs for local charities and good causes, members range in age from 22 to 87.  You don’t have to live in Corby to join, with the current membership base extending to the five counties of Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Rutland and Cambridgeshire.

The five initial concerts this year have been warmly received by audiences, but have also helped to raise about £2,000 for a wide range of different charities.  Since the Corby Male Voice Choir was first founded in 1976, it has helped raise in excess of £300,000 for local charities and good causes, singing at some 560 concerts.  With an additional six concerts confirmed for this year, CMVC members hope that 2018 will be the choir’s most successful year yet.

The current repertoire includes songs from West End shows, popular music, songs of the sea, sacred songs, and music from operas. Recently, CMVC has added more contemporary music and, as well as English, the choir sings German, French, Latin, Maori, Welsh and Zulu songs.
