Over the last ten years, the Foxton Locks Festival has grown from a small local event into a national event with visitors from all parts of the country and attendances in excess of fifteen thousand.  This year The Festival will take place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.

During the weekend a total of twenty-five live acts will take to the two music stages with Jive Aces, Southbound and Hub Caps headlining.  There is a large arena that will feature events including a dog show, historical re-enactment and Falconry, plus many other attractions.  There is also a large funfair and other children’s entertainment.  Saturday will see a fly past by a Lancaster aircraft, and on the Sunday an appearance by a Hurricane; both aircraft are from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Up to one hundred craft stalls offer something for everyone, plus there will also be craft boats on the canal selling different produce.   A large licenced bar, and tea, coffee and soft drink stalls will keep people hydrated.  A large number of food outlets will be on site providing a wide variety of sweet and savoury meals including vegan/vegetarian options.

Overnight camping and space for caravans and motor homes is available, as is free parking.  The event is being hosted by HFM, the best local radio station.

Tickets are £10 on the day but can be purchased via the festival website at a discounted rate.  Under 16’s free.
