Based in Geddington, the team at Bright
Trees offer business advice and support
services to enable business growth. As many
local business owners face unprecedented
challenges and the adoption of new ways of
working, resulting from the outbreak Covid-19,
the Bright Trees team have sought to extend
their reach with an endeavour to support local
businesses.

Earlier this year, the Bright Trees Network was
created, a Facebook group centred around
the needs of local business owners. Founder
and Managing Partner, Richard Broughton
says: “the purpose of the network is to provide
an accessible platform for local business
owners to collaborate, share concerns and
develop solutions. Now more than ever, local
businesses need to support one another and,
where possible, share their resources not just
for survival but also for future growth.”

As businesses start to prepare and implement
their return to work plans, the network has
already witnessed its fi rst collaboration with
health and safety specialists, EKS Associates,
joining forces with Bright Trees to develop
a free-of-charge Return to Work Support
Package. The purpose of the package is to
support a safe and practical return to work for
local businesses. Richard adds: “many small
businesses do not have dedicated departments
for health and safety or human resources and
through working in partnership with EKS in
Great Doddington, we were pleased that we
could offer a comprehensive support package
that took a holistic approach. The package
enables business owners to initiate their
own, business specifi c, risk assessment.”

Since its publication the package has already
reached in excess of 1,000 business owners,
supporting a safe and practical return to work.
