Gretton Local History Society meeting

Gretton Local History Society, Gretton village hall. Guest speaker: Tony Yeomens with a presentation on Sir Thomas Tresham’s Buildings; The Market House at Rothwell, Triangular Lodge at Rushton Hall and Lyveden New Bield. Why did Sir Thomas build them, what was their purpose and what do they tell us about his devotion to the Catholic faith. Visitors welcome, £3, includes refreshments and raffle.
