Denford Thespians present Fresh Heir

Denford Thespians present Fresh Heir, a new comedy by Will Adams & Peter Fairweather at Denford village hall. An unfortunate misunderstanding gives rise to a rumour that the 12th Duke of Smallhampton, who has been suffering poor health, is about to die. This immediately sparks conjecture about the succession, with the Duke and Duchess’s two sons and their wives vying with each other as discreetly as possible as to who might be best for the job. During a chaotic family weekend party, further complications and revelations only serve to make matters worse, especially since a TV crew are also present to film the proceedings as part of a forthcoming fly-on-the-wall documentary about the Smallhamptons. Is gormless number one son up to the job? How does his younger brother plan to upset the aristocratic applecart?
