Easter House Opening and Easter Egg Trail Sunday 9th and Monday 10th April 2023 Join us on Easter Sunday & Monday for lots of Egg-citement as you explore the House & Gardens! Children visiting us can take part in our Garden Easter Egg Trail. Collect an activity sheet and begin exploring the Gardens in search of our colourful eggs. Find the letter on each egg to uncover the secret Easter word, then collect your Easter prize from our gift shop! The Easter Bunny will also be on the hunt for eggs so make sure you stop and say hello, and our friends from Just Karen will be in the garden doing storytelling and bubble displays! Visitors wishing to explore the house can do so on a self-guided tour, allowing them to explore an assortment of rooms from different periods, all decorated with family portraits and possessions, which provide an impressive yet intimate glimpse into the lives of Deene Park’s current owners and their ancestors. Volunteer at Deene Park Our room guides are vital part of Deene Parks public open days. They help bring Deene Park to life, welcome our visitors, and share their knowledge of the Brudenell family and the history of the house. We are always keen to welcome new and enthusiastic people to help take care of our unique historic house and help open its doors to more visitors. We are looking to recruit volunteer guides for the 2023 season, especially on Sunday and bank holiday Monday afternoons between April and September. Join our friendly volunteer team and share your existing experience and skills or learn new skills while you work in a beautiful setting.
