Back by Popular demand! Our third Annual Teddy Bears Picnic!

If you go down to the gardens today, you’re sure of a big surprise…

Enjoy your picnic next to the lake, meet Mr Teddy Bear, explore the formal gardens with a Teddy Bear Trail, and have fun with our friends from Just Karen for storytelling, and sing-alongs. Infant (0-4 years) Free, Child (5-12 years) £4, Adult £8.

This is an outdoor event so bring your own chairs/blankets to sit on, a picnic to dig into, and dress for the weather. Our tearoom will also be open selling a variety of cakes and hot and cold drinks.

Private House Tours

Every year between April and September, Deene Park welcomes groups and coach trips. Enjoy a private guided tour of up to fi fteen rooms often used by the family and their friends. Explore the Tudor Great Hall, admire Lady Cardigan’s Victorian ball gown, meet Ronald, who rode at Balaklava, and marvel at the impressive Georgian wing, built for entertaining.

Our talented tour guides bring to life the history of the house and the Brudenell family, whose extensive collection includes family portraits and possessions, furniture and porcelain, together with uniforms and memorabilia from the Crimean War.
